Delta Bikes
Who is Delta Bikes?
Delta Bikes is a partnership created by Paul Dickerson and Jonathan Ridout. We grew up riding mountain bikes and trials bikes together and held a strong desire to work with something we were passionate about and so Delta Bikes was formed.
How long has Delta Bikes existed?
We started the business in Nov 2007 and originally were totally eCommerce based and specialised in trials bikes. In summer 2008 we started doing repairs and maintenance on all types of bikes alongside the website which then allowed us to open our Dursley shop in December 2009. We found the shop was a lot busier than we initially expected and as our website was serving a niche sector of cycling we decided to stop eCommerce for a couple of months until we could replace the website with something which better represented the areas of cycling we now represented. It turned out we were pretty busy as over 8 years later we're finally back online!
What do we do?
We specialise in performance mountain, electric, hybrid and gravel bikes, holding around 100 on display in our showroom and a large number more held in storage. We hold demo bikes and products to try before you buy and run the best and most highly equipped workshop in the area.
When you buy from Delta Bikes you aren't buying from some faceless company that has its tax affairs dealt with in Bermuda; you're helping to support a small tightly-knit team of people that are passionate about cycling and that always wanted to work with bikes. With your business and support, we hope we can carry on doing this for a long time to come!
Location & Visit Information
Delta Bikes is situated in the small market town of Dursley, surrounded by beautiful countryside and some truly great riding! We are certainly worth a visit whether its to click and collect an item or view a bike.
IMPORTANT - Please be aware that due to our small shop it is not possible to have every bike on display. If you're making a special trip please contact us with 24-48 hours prior notice, so we can arrange for the bike you wish to view to be on site and assembled.
Parking - There is plenty of FREE parking close to the shop:
4 spaces in front of St James Church right next to our shop.
Water Street car park - If heading out of Dursley with our shop to your left, it is the first available left turn. Be aware it is quite small and not suitable for large vehicles.
Henlow Drive - Probably the easiest close parking. If heading out of Dursley with our shop to your left, it is the first right turn AFTER you pass Water Street on your left. There is currently 4 hour parking at the bottom on the left and 2 hour parking at the top on the right.
Long Street car park - If heading through Dursley towards our shop, pass Sainsbury's on your left and take the first left at the roundabout. 2/3 of the way down you will find the entrance to the car park on your left.
