If a bike is showing as Out of Stock or Special Order we’d recommend giving us a quick call before ordering so we can check availability and lead time with our suppliers.
Skilled riders and magazine reviewers know you don’t need a rear shock to get rad on the toughest trails. You just need a Whyte 900 series hardtail. Already hailed as the greatest Trail Hardtail ever, we’ve amped up the ability right through the range with our latest generation short offset geometry, so you can charge climbs, dominate descents and rip out of corners better than ever with the pure lines of our original dedicated SCR hardtail frame.
Because a kick-ass hardtail doesn’t have to kick your ass we’ve also teamed our snake hipped, shock eating, Boost width rear stays with high volume, tubeless 2.8in WTB tyres on super wide rims, adding a welcome dose of pneumatic suspension whilst increasing traction and reducing fatigue.
Custom micro reach, wide bar cockpits give precision power steering authority through colour coded RockShox or Fox forks and all models come preloaded with stealth dropper posts and sweet shifting BBX control routing.
In other words, everything you need for High Definition trail domination without the extra weight, faff or winter worries of full suspension.
Last year RockShox and Fox increased their tyre clearance to allow up to 2.8” tyres into a standard length 27.5” fork, whilst maintaining the ideal fork length for our progressive geometry. This gave us the best of both worlds - exceptional grip and comfort with amazing control and performance.
901 has major updates – it’s upgraded to 2.8” tyres it now mirrors the 905’s award winning performance. It also gains a Whyte drop.it seat post, featuring a reliable sealed cartridge design and TRP’s excellent new Slate 4-pot brakes, with technology developed on the World Cup DH series with Arron Gwinn.
