Long time no blogging…
0Apologies that we haven’t posted anything new for a while but I thought it was about time that I did a small update of what we are upto here at Delta Bikes! :
Things have been so busy in the shop ever since before Christmas that there just hasn’t been time to contribute to this blog (the fact that I am also posting this at 3.30am should also highlight this *lol*). I am hoping that with a bit of effort I’ll try to make updates a lot more regular when we receive new products, have special offers or just some cool media to share.
The shop has been open for over 16 months now and in that time we have surpassed all our estimations and have grown our stock holding significantly. We have got to the point where our current methods for stock control and replenishment have meant that we are not as efficient as we would like to be at times. Due to this we are currently making a huge effort to improve efficiency by investing in new EPOS and stock control systems which will allow us to make sure that we don’t run out of critical products and improve our businesses all round efficiency. I’ll post a bit more information about this in the very near future.
We currently have an e-commerce website in the works which we hope to implement a little later in the year.
Please note that we have modified our opening hours slightly and we will be extending our opening times slightly once the clocks change.

Lapierre Bikes 2011
0The new 2011 Lapierre bikes will start arriving from Monday onwards. The first three bikes that we’ll be receiving will be from the ‘Rapt Series’ and truly look stunning:

We expect to have the bikes built toward the end of next week but if you would like to place a pre-order and be one of the first people to own one of these awesome bikes please let us know!
On the subject of Lapierre bikes, keeping checking back regularly for updates on more of the 2011 range and also for details of the Lapierre Zesty 514 and Spicy 516 demo bikes that will be here very shortly!

0FIT Bike Co 2011 completes have started to arrived with the supplier (see the pic below!) and we expect to have our first bikes arriving toward the end of this week. As ever demand is expected to outstrip supply so if you want one quick or would like to reserve yours please give us a call or come and have a chat in the shop.
